Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of lumenrec.com. They are in force since 2 September 2026. Reading the site means accepting them; a reader who does not accept them is asked to close the page.

1. Who publishes this site

lumenrec.com is published by Oksana Melnyk, a private individual resident at 4696 Boul Bourque, Sherbrooke, QC J1N 2A8, Canada, reachable at +1 819-437-8898 and at press@lumenrec.com. There is no company behind these pages, no editorial staff and no third-party owner.

2. What this site is

LumenRec is an independent editorial guide to sweet, dessert and fruit themed mobile games listed on Google Play in Canada. It describes how those games play. It sells nothing, hosts no application files, runs no advertising, offers no account and asks for nothing to be filled in. Every link that leads to a game leads to the store listing operated by Google.

3. No affiliation

The publisher is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Google LLC, Google Play, Flipline Studios, BitMango, Pragmatic Play or any other developer, publisher or brand mentioned on these pages. Names and titles are used descriptively, to identify the games discussed. If a rights holder considers that a mention or an image exceeds fair editorial use, a message to the address above is enough to have it reviewed and, where the objection is justified, removed.

4. Figures taken from the store

Prices, ratings, review counts, genres, developer names and package identifiers reproduced on this site were copied from the Canadian Google Play listing of each title at the date stated on the page. A developer may change any of them at any moment, and a regional store may show a different figure. The store listing always prevails over anything written here, and a reader is expected to check it before installing. Session lengths and the editorial score are the publisher’s own judgement, formed on a mid-range Android device, and are opinion rather than measurement.

5. Where a purchase takes place

No transaction happens on lumenrec.com. Two of the indexed titles are one-time purchases in the store and one installs at no charge; in either case the transaction takes place on Google Play, under a Google account, subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its published rules. The publisher receives no commission, holds no card details and cannot cancel, refund or modify anything you obtained from the store.

6. Intellectual property

Screenshots and game artwork reproduced on this site remain the property of their respective rights holders and are shown in reduced form for the purpose of criticism, review and news reporting. The editorial text, the page structure, the stylesheet, the wordmark and the arrangement of this site belong to the publisher and are protected under the Copyright Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42). Quoting a short passage with a visible link to the source page is welcome; wholesale copying of the text or of the layout is not permitted without written agreement.

7. Acceptable use

The pages may be read, printed and shared for personal use. They may not be used to build an automated copy of the site, to hammer the server with automated requests, to present the content as someone else’s work, or to attach the publisher’s name to a service or an offer he or she has not endorsed.

8. Availability and warranty

This site is offered as it is. The publisher aims to keep it accurate and reachable but does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that a described game will behave on your device as it behaved on the publisher’s. Nothing here is professional advice of any kind.

9. Limits of responsibility

Within the limits permitted by the law in force in Québec, the publisher is not answerable for indirect consequences of the use of this site, for a decision to install a game, for the behaviour of a third-party store or application, or for a temporary interruption caused by a provider. Nothing in these terms removes or reduces the rights a consumer holds under the Consumer Protection Act (RLRQ c. P-40.1) or under any other rule of public order that cannot be set aside by agreement.

10. Links to other sites

Links leading away from lumenrec.com — to a store listing, to a regulator, to a developer — are given for the reader’s convenience. The pages they lead to are governed by their own terms and their own privacy rules, over which the publisher has no control.

11. Complaints before court

A reader with a complaint is asked to send it first by e-mail to press@lumenrec.com, describing the page, the passage concerned and the outcome sought. A written answer is given within thirty days. A consumer may also address the Office de la protection du consommateur, 400, boulevard Jean-Lesage, bureau 450, Québec, QC G1K 8W4, opc.gouv.qc.ca. This step is intended to settle the matter without proceedings; it does not deprive anyone of the right to go to court.

12. Applicable law and courts

These terms are governed by the law in force in the province of Québec and by the federal law of Canada applying there. Any dispute that cannot be settled as described above falls to the courts of the province of Québec, judicial district of Saint-François (Sherbrooke), without prejudice to the right of a consumer to bring an action before the court of his or her own domicile as provided by article 3149 of the Civil Code of Québec.

13. Changes

These terms may be updated when the site changes. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date; continuing to read the site after a change means accepting the new version.
